About the founder
After receiving her degree in chemistry, Angella Sprauve worked as a chemist for a prominent pharmaceutical company formulating personal care, nutritional, and OTC drug products.   Although her work in the industry familiarized her with mass-market skin care, Angella realized that skin care should be more authentic.   She wanted to share her own philosophy, which was to make skin care more personal.   Her knowledge of science and her passion for people led her to create Auvê.
